NW does *NOT* use MS SQL. 

NW uses mm, res ( NSRDB, NSRLADB and NSRJOB) and the CFI. 

If someone else is using that MS SQL server for some other reason/application 
and you dare not uninstall it, then that's fine, and up to you, but that is 
not a networker question.
