Windows 7 Client and Windows Server 2008 R2 operating systems both have
architecture, VSS and Clustering changes which require new versions of
EMC NetWorker to support. The EMC NetWorker team is working on support
for these two new operating systems and support is expected in 1H 2010.

Subject: [Networker] windows 7 and vss
We have been plagued with lots of vss issues, some of which we have
submitted to this list without resolution. The newest one is a
windows 7 64 bit machine, we are not able to backup any portion of
it. We are getting the error below. My networker admin disabled the
vss functionality via the server, and only specified the local c
drive, and it still fails, with the below error message. I even tried
to disable the built in systems restore functionality. Network client
is 7.5 sp1 build 269. thanks in advance for any suggestions.
