Disregarding any 7.5.x vs 7.4.4 discussion, also make sure you:
(a) Have your update enablers authorised and ready
(b) Do a proper, full index backup (e.g., "savegrp -O -l full
groupName" for a group that has all clients in it); copying indices is
all well and good, but EMC don't recommend it in their documentation
and thus if you want a good fall-back scenario that is _supported_ you
should do the full index backup.
(c) Ensure that you upgrade the storage nodes and the backup server
together. It is no longer the case that having mixed versions for the
server and storage node(s) could be recommended.
