Greetings,

I have gone through all possible upgrade scares and have two questions:

1. I am going to upgrade from 7.2 soon, but people are consistently
recommending to go for 7.4.4 and not 7.5.x ? Apart from the
functionality is this a good advice? I am sure 7.5.x can also be tamed
if it already is not.

2. Has someone who gone through the process of upgrading from 7.2 to 7.4
or 7.5 and documenting it be kind enough to share it. These are the
steps I am planning to follow:

a. Do a nsrim -X, nsrck -m, and nsrck -L6 on Backup Server
b. Copy the entire NSR folder to a safe location on Backup Server
c. Uninstall Networker on Backup Server and Storage Nodes, when it asks
to retain the NSR folder, say yes.
d. Install Networker 7.4.4 or 7.5.x on all Servers

Please correct me if I am missing anything here.

Regards,
Sami
