Hello,
Would it be possible to use NMC and read only access for application &
various interested parties to view their own server backup info in the
absence of networker dashboard, techtools or wysdm, to view the backup
status, it might save you from all the various configuration required to
do owner notification, this type of access can be accomplished with one
single log in, if you did not have any specific concern if owners are
able to view entire backup structure ? just a thought ?

Re: 7.4.4 Owner notifications show probe information
As Paul pointed out, the reason for the extra information is my 7.2.2
client version. I've upgraded the client to 7.4 and the 'probe' data is
now gone from the owner notifications. Thanks Paul!
EMC has assured me that they support 7.2 clients with a 7.4.4 server,
which was critical for me as I have 435 clients spread over a very large
campus. I'm not looking forward to all the calls I will receive from my
client base asking what happened to their notifications. EMC should have
come up with something a bit more subtle ;-)
BTW, EMC support could not explain to me why the information was there,
but they were able to confirm that I can't modify the report.
