You don't need to stop NetWorker, just disable the jukebox briefly. The only
effect is that you won't be able to load/unload tapes while it is disabled,
any backup already running will be unaffected.
This is what I am now investigating. It makes me a bit nervous, but from
what you say, it is probably a benign process if it is only run a for a
few seconds.....
Now I just need to work out how to script nsradmin to do this.....
Thanks for everyone's advice and assistance. I am also going to log
a case with EMC, referring to the other case mentioned on the list,
to hopefully add some weight to the return of some sort of scanning
routine for the CAP in the L700.....
