When I upgraded fro 7.2.2 to 7.4.2 I had a lot of problems with rpc errors and
savegroups hanging.
The rpc-errors disappeared whem I turn off
rx-checksumming: off
tx-checksumming: off
scatter-gather: off
tcp segmentation offload: off
udp fragmentation offload: off
generic segmentation offload: off
on the NIC( 10Gb)
The savegrup hanging disappeared when I turned on "no index save" on my
savegroups.
Instead I run a full backup of my index once a day (savegrp -l full -O -G
indexsave).
I'v now ben running for 2 month's without any problems (w2k and linux/unix,
exchange and sql online clients (about 200))

Can you send us the output of 'showrev -p' ?

Did it fix the 'owner notification' problem as well ?
