Hi everyone,

I saw the questions on the list about NetWorker training. I'm a consultant and
instructor with Cambridge Computer, and I helped write our NetWorker 7.2 and
7.3 classes. If you have any questions about the classes, please feel free to
email me directly: acorbett AT cambridgecomputer DOT com.

RE: certification: There's no course available for NetWorker which includes
certification as part of the course. The official EMC certification tests are
computer-based tests administered through Prometric. Currently there are two of
them: a NetWorker Administrator test which covers basic NetWorker
administration, and a Specialist test that covers more advanced NetWorker
topics. You don't have to take a class to take the test, although it's
recommended.

As far as I know the 7.3 certification tests aren't out yet (they usually
follow a few months behind the software releases), so I don't know yet what
will be on them. But our class serves as very good preparation for the 7.2
Administration certification test, although the core focus is hands-on
administration. It also covers most, although not all, of the topics on the
advanced test.

Thanks very much for the kind words about the classes!

Allison
