I didn't make the suggestion, because for some admins installing perl is
more onerous than many other tasks. But if you already have perl, then
this is pretty simple.
You could even use 'perl -p -e ";"' by itself as a crude 'cat'.
C:\WINNT>c:\perl\bin\perl -p -e ";" wmsetup.log > other.txt
[WMC Logging begun. Logging at level: '2']
Of course added complexity is possible. :-)
