So you're defining each slot as a drive, but only defining the actual drive as 
a device?

Well, I don't have those defined in the Storage resource of the bacula-sd.conf 
configuration (which is on the remote machine where the storage daemon lives) 
but I *do* have it in the Storage resource which is part of the bacula-dir.conf 
configuration.  The director gets quite cranky if you leave it out there.  :-)
