Actually, the restore jobs were in the 900-range. 687 was indeed the backup job, as I can see that the numbers before and closely following it were all backup jobs in the same data range (I didn't do my restore until months later).
It was that restore process that taught me how to manage my Bacula Directory so as to avoid bscan's in the future. But it's good to know that I can restore without restoring the info in the catalog.
