My setup has suddenly slowed down when running virtualfull jobs. I don't think
it's all virtualfull jobs as if I kill off the one that's stalled then a few
more run okay until it hits another bad one.

iostat on the sd shows pretty much nothing happening most of the time... bursts
of 1MB/second or so then nothing for the next 10 seconds.

Logging mysql queries I'm seeing lots of 'insert into batch ...' but there are
a few other jobs running concurrently so I can't be sure that these relate to
my slow job.

Bacula says the job is 'running' but way slower than it should. It's going to
USB2 disk so I'd expect and have previously observed speeds of 20Mbytes/second.

Once the other jobs have completed I'll start stracing and monitoring the mysql
queries to get a better picture of where it's going wrong, but any other
suggestions for what to monitor would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

James
