Before I actually do the upgrade, I was wondering, if it is just an erroneous
message and it actually is purging on the 180 day job retention?
The reason I ask is last week I had reached a point where I needed to start
re-using old volumes. Which I was able to resolve by adjusting the Volume
retention time. But I think when I did that it also overrides the job and file
retention anyway, so it really was not a problem.
I think I will use bconsole and see if I can determine if the job and file
retention times are being used as expected.
Thanks Again
