Oops! I meant the "mtx-changer" script! Sorry.
Also, if you can, build the mtx binary yourself, from the source at
<http://sourceforge.net/projects/mtx/> or its home page at
<http://mtx.opensource-sw.org/> (which is busted at the moment), that
may be worth a try.
I know I'm paranoid, but sometimes just removing any "enhancements" that
the packaging droids have committed on an unsuspecting piece of software
can make problems go away, often with quite astonishing improvements!
