this may or may not help you, but I usually compile bacula using 

--prefix=/server/bacula-5.2.6 --with-mysql 


and that's it. This allows us to quickly switch between
(db-compatible) versions by using a softlink to /server/bacula. I
don't know if some of your advanced configure options have something
to do with SIGSEGV, however restores work fine on our end. 

Have to tried changing the restore host to the bacula server and thus
not directly restoring to the client?
