I had a fully working 5.0.1 installation with my Quantum Scalar i40 library that has 2 drives, after upgrading to 5.2.3 my backups started failing, I then upgraded to 5.2.6 hoping that something had been fixed no such luck.

What it looks like is that bacula is not properly unloading the tape, or not waiting long enough and then it is putting the autoloader into an error state:

A host issued a SCSI Prevent/Allow Media Removal command which is preventing the drive from unloading a tape cartridge.

I can operate the loader and drive manually using mtx and mt.

Has anyone had problems with 5.2.X and their autochanger, I have tried some of the settings in mtx-changer.conf but nothing seems to help

TIA,

Steve
