Hi,

I am trying to implement BACULA 5.2.5 on my company and so far, i managed to configure a server with several linux and windows clients and one AIX.

I’ve done full backups without any errors on all clients.

I just can’t restore any files on windows clients using VSS.

When i start the restore job, the file daemon service stops.

I tried running the same file sets without VSS and the restore job ran with success. It just dont work with VSS.

I Also ran the restore with the client in debug mode.

The trace has no error ending in the line below:

baculaclient-fd: /home/kern/bacula/k/bacula/src/filed/job.c:2120-0 g_pVSSClient = 766680, enable_vss = 1

My configuration is:

Director BACULA 5.2.5 is running on CentOS 6.2 x86_64

Client BACULA 5.2.5 win64 is running on Windows Server 2008 R2

There aren't any firewalls on the path between the machines.

No encryption

FILE SET CONF

# List of files to be backed up
FileSet {
  Name = "Exchange"
  Include {
    Options {
      signature = MD5
    }
    File = "E:/"
  }
}

Here are the all relevant output (I think)
