Martin,

There are no error messages. I am unsure where to look for errors in
Exchange other than in Windows event viewer, and there is nothing in
there. I am using Exchange 2003, by the way.

Does it print an error message (or maybe Exchange logs an error)?

What happens if you run it from the command line with the same arguments
as Bacula uses (see bacula-dir.conf)?
