Just in case anyone stumbles across the above in the future via google,
that was true on older versions of bacula but since (I think) 3.x bacula
has been able to extract the main file stream from a win32 stream to
non-win32 systems. You lose the Alternate Data Streams and all the other
stuff in a BackupRead stream but chances are that if you are doing this
you don't need it.
