Hi,
I’ve problem
backing-up RHEL 4 server with bacula
Bacula backup
server:
Bacula dir version:
5.0.1
Bacula SD version: 5.0.1
Operating system:
RHEL 5
Arch: X86_64
I’ve installed bacula-client-3.0.2-1.el4.x86_64.rpm/
bacula-client-3.0.2-1.el5.x86_64.rpm on couple of RHEL4 and RHEL5 box.
While installing
client agent on el4 (4.8 ES and AS) it came up with following error.
ldconfig:
/lib/libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3 is not a symbolic link
ldconfig:
/lib/libstdc++.so.6 is not a symbolic link
ldconfig:
/lib/libstdc++.so.5 is not a symbolic link
ldconfig:
/lib/libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2 is not a symbolic link
It does appears to
me some library issue, but don’t’ know which package to be installed to resolve
this issue.
After the error installation,
I’ve tried to connect el4 client from director but it came up with the following
error though the password is same on both DIR and FD, and I did try telnet 9102
to check if there is any issue with networking even that one success too.
Passwords or names
not the same or
Maximum Concurrent
Jobs exceeded on the FD or
FD networking
messed up (restart daemon).
Please see
http://www.bacula.org/en/rel-manual/Bacula_Freque_Asked_Questi.html#SECTION003760000000000000000
for help.
However, I’ve managed
to install the same client version on el5 without any error, and manage to
backup the data successfully.
I’ve no idea what
to check…I’m here and looking for some help from you guys to resolve this
issue.
Any suggestion,
help much appreciated
Thanks,
