Thanks to Dan for pointing out that you should consider an upgrade :-)
Apart from that, is there anything in the database logs?
Also, if this happens every time now, you should run the DIR with
debug output of level, say, 400, capture that output, and see if yo
get more details there. I suspect some sort of database problem.
