I hope you also changed the configuration file and reloaded it - 
otherwise, newly created volumes will get the wrong settings again!

Obviously, waiting until the volumes are automatically recycled is the 
easiest approach. If that's not an option, there are prepared queries 
available to tell you which jobs are in a given volume, and which 
files in a given job, so you can find volumes you can manually purge, 
delete, and remove from disk if needed.
