I have try to find in ml where this damned bug reside, but I've not found him.

There's trouble with the 2.4.4 version and you should try as much as possible 
use the lastest only stable supported version 3.0.1
I know there's somewhere deb pack for this version.

(It doesn't automatically resolve all of your troubles )
