John,
Sorry to send this to you directly, but my mail setup is currently
preventing me from posting to the bacula lists.
I get the feeling that the bacula storage daemon and director will
work on windows from things I read in the list. I am trying to set up
a bacula SD on a Windows server 2003 box that has an attached LTO4
library. I can see the changer and tape drive in the windows “device
manager” but don’t know how to refer to them correctly in the
Configuration files and the mtx-changer “script”. I poured over the
documentation and searched the bacula lists trying to find examples of
bacula configuration files for Windows and how to refer to the tape
changer and drive in Windows (unsuccessfully).
Examples of a bacula director on Windows would also be appreciated.
Can you:
1) Send me such info,
2) Point me to the right documentation,
or
3) Post this request for me?
Thanks.
Best regards,
John
