[Bacula-users] unreliable file timestamps?
2009-08-06 08:50:45
Morning,
I am moving some data off a linux box to a NetGear ReadyNAS NV+. It seems
like the time stamps on files on the ReadyNAS are unreliable. Is there a
setting in the configuration for the client to perform a hash-based (or
other) analysis of a file (comparing the current hash with the previous
hash for example) to determine if the file has changed and should be
backed up?
I'm searching for such a setting and have not found it yet.
Failing finding a setting I'll write a File setting in the File Set for
these (three so far) shares from the NAS.
Thanks.
Mike
