Check with dd or tar before using the btape test, and observe the 
system's logs.

A position of block -1 in file 1 is definitely nonsense. You most 
probably have problems in a layer below Bacula - tape driver, SCSI 
driver, kernel, SCSI hardware or the tape drive or tape itself.
