[Bacula-users] Restoring, and removing files from host that are not found in backup
2008-10-02 05:07:21
I'm looking for a way in bacula to restore a running machine to an image of
how it was at the time it was backed up, including removing files that are
not found in the backup. Basically, this functionality:
rsync -av --delete /backup/location root@servertoberestored:/
I use this technique with rsync backups all the time, and it works
wonderfully. Just remember to use a list of excludes that
avoid /dev/, /proc/, etc. Is there any way to do the same with Bacula 2.4?
Regards,
Tyler

will look attractive and he will be nice and helpful and he will get a
job where he influences a great God-fearing nation and he will never do
an evil thing... he will just bit by little bit lower standards where
they are important. Just coax along flash over substance... Just a tiny
bit. And he will talk about all of us really being salesmen. And he'll
get all the great women."
