Dear list,
due to some additional "on-demand" backups, bacula ran out of appendable
tape volumes in my autochanger.
How do I manually make bacula overwrite a specific tape?
I tried to set one volumes (CNV768) retention period to zero (update
volume) and then marked the volume "purged". Bacula still doesn't want
to use the tape. Or at least I don't know how to make bacula recognise
my changes.
Could someone please give me a quick instruction how to manually recycle
(this might not be the technically correct term) i.e. "re-use" tapes
that would normally be unacceptable to bacula because of their
volume-retention-period?
