Thanks! So it is more likely to be a hardware problem: Scsi cable & terminator? Can it be the Scsi card?

I've actually changed the HP Autoloader and drive with HP a few times because we are under 1 to 1 one-business day exchange. But I am not sure if the cable, terminator or scsi card is under such warranty.

Can faulty Scsi cable, terminator and Scsi card lead to the error below?
23-Aug 23:05 mdserver2-sd JobId 51: Error: block.c:568 Write error at 105:1 on device "Ultrium" (/dev/nst0). ERR=Input/output error.
23-Aug 23:05 mdserver2-sd JobId 51: Error: Backspace record at EOT failed. ERR=Input/output error*

At first i thought it was the bacula version not updated, so i updated.
Then I thought the drive & autoloader is faulty, so i exchanged.
Then i thought the tapes are faulty, so i swap it randomly.

I guess i have get new card and cable to test if they are not under warranty. I hope its not some tape drive settings or OS problem.. i'm using linux kernel 2.6.22-3-686.

According to the specs, TapeAlert 25 is a "Failure of one interface
port in a dual-port configuration, e.g. Fibrechannel"

and 32 is "The drive has identified an interfacing fault"

It's time to check the cabling, connections and terminators...
