Hello everyone,



I'm new to Bacula (and to this list) and trying to get the daemons to
work together. I've installed a full suite on a naked Debian Etch
machine via apt with a mysql behind. The tables have been set up
properly during install. So far so good.

For some reason bconsole seems to be unable to connect to the director.

'Verbindungsaufbau abgeleht' translates to 'Connection refused'.

The output of netstat seems to be correct (?) to me.

I don't know how to get around this. I tried to change the hostname in
the Bacula conf files to our internal domain
(baculadirector.mydomain.local), didn't help either.

Can you point me in the right direction how to solve the problem? Any
hint will be appreciated.
