Well, the tape is not unloaded from the drive.

If it's just a matter of time - which it isn't, because the tape is 
still loaded in later checks - you'd set a higher timeout.

As it is now, you need to find out why the unloading process doesn't work.

Start with mtx from the shell to see if the changer behaves correctly 
('mtx status' and 'mtx unload').

If there are problems with the autochanger, you need to find out why - 
device names, access permission, autochanger firmware version, 
autochanger settings, missing 'mt offline', and broken tapes can all 
cause problems.

After resolving any autochanger operation issues, you check if 
mtx-changer works
 correctly. There are some parts of it which might 
need tuning - timeouts and 'mt offline'.

If all that works with the tape in question, and the autochanger 
operations don't take very long, you should be ok.
