[Bacula-users] mtx device missing but physically present
2008-06-18 13:56:41
Hi.
I have a bit of a problem. I was doing some timing adjustments in the
mtx-changer script as I had to it to 100 seconds in a couple of spots.
Unfortunately, the btape autochanger test kind of hung and I could not
remove the st module. So I rebooted. Now, I see the changer is attached
according to dmesg but when I view the scsi devices using lsscsi I can
see the device but it is not showing as /dev/sg1 which is what it
previously.
In fact it only shows as a scsi device:
[2:0:1:0] mediumx ADIC FastStor DLT 0115 -
[2:0:3:0] tape QUANTUM DLT8000 010F /dev/st0
Any ideas on this one. A hard start on the server? If that happens at
this point would it most likely happen again?
Thanks in advance.
