We did that back in 2004 and I believe version 1.34.6. The faster of
these two machines still exists and is still the bacula director and
now running bacula-2.4.0. Back then the consensus was not to do that
because it was not tested. For us it worked fine for 6+ months and
probably 1000 jobs.
