Hi,

Sorry for a late reply, got stuck with something else. Well it is CISCO 3560G Catalyst switch with a gigabit module and is connected to core switch of the university. Certainly not a managed fabric I believe.  I am not sure what you mean by process of elimination of bacula components, can you please elaborate on it.

Through process of elimination, isolate the bacula components by testing
speed via another protocol between the same two hosts.

Do you have a manged gigabit switch fabric?
