Hi,

Users is know only by uid gid on nfs, so if uid is different user is différent.

You can check this with cd /var/lib/BackupPC/ and run ls -l .

You can fix this with running chown -R backuppc.backuppc /var/lib/BackupPC/. on 
the backuppc server.

If you get a permission denied when running chown  error you must remount the 
nfs partition with « no_root_squash » option.

Don’t worry about the username show on Freenass.
