exactly! ;-)
just made 2 inc backups - with just some minutes time difference between:
first inc::
same 644 0/0 591
329/fs/root/usr/libexec/webmin/authentic-theme/images/attach.gif
create d 755 0/0 4096 329/fs/root/usr/share/locale/ro/LC_MESSAGES
second inc a few minutes after:
same 644 0/0 591
329/fs/root/usr/libexec/webmin/authentic-theme/images/attach.gif
create d 755 0/0 4096 329/fs/root/usr/share/locale/ro/LC_MESSAGES
File on FS:
bash-3.2# ll /usr/libexec/webmin/authentic-theme/images/before.gif
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 340 Jan 7 07:09
/usr/libexec/webmin/authentic-theme/images/before.gif
So I don't see why rsync would think this file changed? (not quite sure about
the 'same' within verbose Logs)
I also got Github issue open: https://github.com/backuppc/backuppc/issues/52

Betreff: Re: [BackupPC-users] Question regarding existing / new Files in
BackupPC [3.3.0]
I guess, he is looking on #Files in Totals.
It is interesting.. What I think is happening, from whatever reason, those 24k
files has its modification date change each day, but nothing more. So they are
being backuped, but they are hardlinked in pool. Only
~30 files are actually changed, which occurs in New Files.
I would investigate, why all those files change the modification date.
