I have an - I assume simple - problem that I can not solve.
I'm running Backuppc to backup 2 systems at the moment. One, my local 
workstation works without a problem. The other, however, gives the 
following error message:

The following hosts had an error that is probably caused by a 
misconfiguration. Please fix these hosts: - scenic-2 (Unable to read 4 
bytes).

In the status log it says:

Running: /usr/bin/ssh -c blowfish -q -x -l USER SYSTEM sudo -n /usr/bin/rsync 
--server --sender --numeric-ids --perms --owner --group -D --links --hard-links

Xfer PIDs are now 17987
Read EOF: Connection reset by peer
Tried again: got 0 bytes
Done: 0 files, 0 bytes
Got fatal error during xfer (Unable to read 4 bytes)
Backup aborted (Unable to read 4 bytes)

However, in the log on that system I can see that sshd is started but 
immediately closed.
Can somebody give me a clue how to solve this?
