Hi,

I set up backuppc in my small home network. It works fine now backing up
my work linux PC over ssh/rsync. However, trying to backup /etc on
localhost over tar, I get an error after most of /etc (but not all) has
been backed up:

--- snip --------------------
   pool 777 0/0 15 rc5.d/S50rsync
   pool 777 0/0 17 rc5.d/S91apache2
   create 755 0/0 0 perl
   create 755 0/0 0 perl/CPAN
   create 755 0/0 0 perl/Net
   pool 644 0/0 611 perl/Net/libnet.cfg
   pool 644 0/0 1332 colord.conf

Got fatal error during xfer (Gesamtzahl geschriebener Bytes: 20613120 (20MiB,
2,1MiB/s))
Backup aborted (Gesamtzahl geschriebener Bytes: 20613120 (20MiB, 2,1MiB/s))
Saving this as a partial backup

Tar over sudo is configured using visudo as explained in the
documentation. I have no idea why this fails. Can you help me?

Thanks a lot in advance
Jost
