Hi.  Thanks Les and Holger for your replies re my issue with full backup
not completing and ssh process going defunct.

I tried the SSH option ServerKeepAlive but now the backup is running
indefinitely.  lsof shows me the rsync (on the backuppc client) was on
the same little file for hours and hours.  It's a temp file in a directory
just full of little temp files, 2.2 GB worth.

I excluded this directory from the backup, and voila!  got a full backup.
