Here's some more detail.
I removed /var/lib/backuppc/pc/ralph2/38/f%2fdata/attrib to see what
would happen. Things progressed farther but still hung at the end of
the run for this filesystem:

Outdoor 4-25-11/photos rec'd 4-26-11/hustler fire stiles 9.jpg (same attr)
Sending csums, cnt = 0, phase = 1
