If you look in the BackupPC config, you should be able to find the
command it is using to do the backup (SmbClientFullCmd) as well as the
username and password that are being used.  Log in to your backup server
using the backuppc user and try the command manually.  You may need to
adjust the debug level to see exactly what is happening.
