Hi,

Last week, Symantec Antivirus server software was upgraded on a couple of
servers. BackupPC has been faling to back them up since with filename too long
errors. I'm trying to exclude the directory containing these problem files,
but now I'm getting:

full backup started for directory cDrive; updating partial #305
Connected to tartarus:873, remote version 29
Negotiated protocol version 28
Connected to module cDrive
Sending args: --server --sender --numeric-ids --perms --owner --group -D

Tried again: got 0 bytes
fileListReceive() failed
Done: 0 files, 0 bytes
Got fatal error during xfer (fileListReceive failed)
Backup aborted (fileListReceive failed)
Not saving this as a partial backup since it has fewer files than the prior one
(got 0 and 0 files versus 12806)

These servers have backed up fine for years until now. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

James
