I have got a socket file
/var/log/BackupPC/BackupPC.sock respectively
/mnt/usbstick/var/log/BackupPC/BackupPC.sock

Obviously the socket file has been created correctly, but I don't knwo how to 
verify whether it is capable of being read sanely.
'cat BackupPC.sock' shows me:
cat: can't open 'BackupPC.sock': No such device or address

Does this mean the socket file is out of order? I don't have any experience 
with socket files.
