Which only works for ext2/ext3 filesystem formats.... I assume there are
probably similar dump commands for some other filesystem formats under
other OS's....

BTW, is there any advantage to using dump instead of dd? ie, does it
produce less data than dd, or anything? (Not copying blank space/etc)...
