I'm sorry, I should have looked more closely -- the only hunk that
failed here was ChangeLog, which isn't a problem.  The code patches
probably worked fine.

That said, I've attached a patch I prepared against the 2.6.1 branch.

I'll consult with the other developers, but I expect it's sensible to
include this in the branch in case we make another 2.6.1 release.
