New problem. And I'm still on 2.6.2alpha20090831

I have been noting that I have to kill the amcheckdump as it never finishes
recently. And that has hung up my attempts to get it restarted with my
catchup script. I've actually been able to do two in the last 12 hours by
manually killing the stalled processes.

So I copied the invocation line as shown in htop, to a bash tab, checked the
manpage for how the options worked, and found no reference to the use of any
trailing numbers, but they are there from how my script runs it. They were
required at some point in history.

A paste of the window I ran it on:
====================
[root@coyote ~]# su amanda -c "/usr/bin/perl /usr/local/sbin/amcheckdump
Daily 2 1"
You will need the following tape: Dailys-2
Press enter when ready

Validating image coyote:/usr/src datestamp 20090929215318 level 0 part 1 on
tape Dailys-2 file #1
  using '/bin/gzip -dc |/usr/local/libexec/amanda/application/amgtar validate
> /dev/null && cat > /dev/null'.
Validating image coyote:/root datestamp 20090929215318 level 0 part 1 on tape
Dailys-2 file #2
Dump was successfully validated.
  using '/bin/gzip -dc |/usr/local/libexec/amanda/application/amgtar validate
> /dev/null && cat > /dev/null'.
Dump was successfully validated.
[root@coyote ~]#

WTH is this"You will need the following tape: Dailys-2"
 "Press enter when ready"

How am I supposed to be able to run it from a cron launched script if
somebody has to be there to Press enter when ready?

For now I'll comment that line in my script. If the blue smoke clears in
time that is.
