I believe it defaults to BSD authentication, if your asking
for the protocal for the daemon activation from inetd.conf,
I think amandad listens to the udp port.

I think I'm going to implement the include setup and drop
zfs, for now, its safe/tested and I want to leave it working
ok when I leave town next week.
