Well, the amcheck did complete, after running through 23 tapes.
I have slots 1-23 configured in the config file, just surprised
me that we examined 23 tapes rather than 23 slots. It termined
just fine, dispite going over the 10 loaded tapes 2+ times.

===============

Hi guys,

I'll detail the build shortly, one of the othe managers is
going a write-up for our local wiki.

In short, I think we removed any added software in /usr/local
and just build using sw in /opt/sfw and /usr/sfw. I'm not
certain what we did about the libary path -L flag, for the
suid programs. Manager suggested I follow list member suggestions
and use -L but when we compiled it elected to use a different process.

Configured the LTO4 tape and jukebox, have NOT yet labeled tapes,
waiting for the storage manager to assign work area to me.

Looks like things are coming together though.

Interestingly... we seem to be cycling through the jukebox trying
to find an amanda labled tape, I'm surprised to see it making a
second pass over the same tapes, I thought it would check no more
than once through each slot.

This is a 2.6.1 build on solaris 10/x86

I don't expect this to be an issue once I label tapes, but thought
it was odd enough to meantion.

NOTE: tapelist will be created on the next run.

 - continues - will see if it stops on its
own after perhaps tapecycle tapes. 23
storage slots in an SL24 jukebox.

                                                thanks,
