Typically daily amdump runs and retaining 2 wks worth of data
would require 15 tapes.

Alternatives exist that could use fewer tapes.  But as always
that would require some limitations.  One alternative as an
example would be to let the backups collect on the holding
disk without being written to tape.  Then once a week amflush
those dumps to tape.
