other than its literal meaning.
Not NFS, but CIFS - and the providing Win 2003 server was hanging! And
instead off saying that the Win server in dead, the CIFS layer
apparently reports an out of memory condition. The same happens when I
try to 'mount -t cifs' the same share... Rebooting the Win box (as
usual) helps...
